At Springview we firmly believe that children are precious gift from God! One of our most important priorities as a church is to create a safe and loving environment where kids can hear the good news of Jesus and learn what it means to follow him together. At Springview Kids children from infant through 5th grade will experience careful Bible teaching that is applied to their lives in exciting and relevant ways. Our passion is that children will know, love, and follow Christ together.
Here's what to expect when dropping your kids off at Springview Kids for the first time:
When you arrive, follow the signs to the Springview Kids counter. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and answer any questions that you may have. Your child will join you in worship for the first part of our service and then be dismissed right before the the end of the singing. After dismissal, bring your child back to the Springview Kids counter from which our volunteers will walk them to their classes.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
- Parent/guardian name(s)
- Child's name
- Child's birth-date
- Home address
- Phone number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
You and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will wear the larger name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag. After the service is complete, you will return to the Children’s Ministry counter and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
In the event that we need to contact you during the service we will text you at the phone number that we have on file for your child.
Before Service: You can check-in your child at any available kiosk. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will wear the larger name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.
After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to the Children’s Ministry counter and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service we will text you at the phone number that we have on file for your child.
Springview Kids are Learning Christ Together through The Gospel Project, a three-year-long curriculum that follows the biblical story from Genesis to Revelation and shows how the entire Bible points to and culminates in the gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s this gospel that helps kids make sense of their lives and world, that brings them into community together, and prepares them for a lifetime of mission to the world. Your child’s safety is the top priority at Springview Kids. All of our volunteers have passed background checks and been carefully vetted to ensure the safest possible environment for your kids. Our check-in and check-out processes are similarly designed to secure the spaces where Children’s Ministry happens and to give parents peace of mind about the welfare of their children.
