Kami grew up as the daughter of a pastor in Rockford, MI. She’s number five of nine siblings, and church was like a second home to her. After graduating from Cedar Springs High School, she went on to attend Word of Life Bible Institute, where she earned a one-year Bible diploma and met her future husband, Jack. Together, they attended Liberty University, where Kami studied youth ministry and sign language. They have raised five children and are now proud grandparents to three (with hopeful prayers for more to come!).
For the past thirty years, Kami has served faithfully as a pastor’s wife, ministering primarily to teens and women. She has led small groups, taught Bible studies, offered spiritual counsel, and created opportunities for fellowship and growth. She has also worked in schools as a para-educator, supporting children with special needs.
As both a mom and “Honey” (grandma), Kami deeply values the importance of training children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. She counts it a true privilege to minister to the children of Springview Community Church, as well as the teachers, helpers, and volunteers who serve alongside her.
